- CamelBak: Hydrate or Die -
PART I - What is it?

Every trail we hit is different, and each requires a different set of tools and supplies. One of the very few items that continuously fits the needs of any outing we take is a hydration pack from CamelBak. For us, Jeeping just wouldn’t be the same without them. Life would not be the same without them.

CamelBak has backpack styles to fit nearly any situation, and sizes to accommodate everything from a small picnic to a multi-day off-road adventure in Moab…or wherever your Jeep takes you. From school to work to the public library to a home-made lunch in the park; over rocks the size of small cars to sandy Newport Beach in California, to the infamous Hell’s Revenge trail in Moab – make sure you take CamelBak with you, and be better prepared.

I recommend getting any of their 3-liter packs to maximize the benefit of taking a CamelBak along with you on the trail. Space inside your Jeep is always valuable, and you should never go Jeeping without plenty of clean drinking water on board. I personally like to strap my favorite CamelBak pack to the roll-cage above my head where it is out of the way, and clip the drinking-tube within easy reach. Also, many of my CamelBak packs have room for two or more bladders, ensuring that I do not go thirsty.

At Dirt Road Magazine, we have watched CamelBak evolve over the years from a rather humble “fabric canteen” of sorts into an extremely well-crafted personal water system that is taste-free, easy to use and easy to clean, that utilizes a nearly indestructible water bladder. The value does not end there - the packs themselves are constructed of high-quality materials and stitched together meticulously to provide the longest possible product life while offering extreme durability. Finally, hydration as tough as your Jeep!

No matter what life throws at you, Hydrate or Die.
Drink up and remember, CamelBak’s Got Your Back.
