Project: "Green Machine"

I started this TJ Project with "capable" in mind. I went with the TJ over the YJ or CJ mainly because of the coil suspension. This TJ is a daily driver with trips to “Jeep Land” several times a month. So far I installed the Rancho Rockcrawler 3-inch suspension lift in conjunction with a TeraFlex 2-inch budget boost. Not only does it flex like crazy, but also it has plenty of room for 33-inch tires. I am also running Rancho RS9000X 9-position shocks all the way around for a ride that can be adjusted to my own personal liking.

What is "capable" without a self-recovery device? Project “Mean Machine” has a Mile Marker 9000lb. Electric winch…just in case. To help run the winch, we also installed an Optima Yellow Top battery. So far, Project “Mean Machine” is moving along slowly but steadily, and has proved to be very capable. I will keep you posted on my progress with this project as I continue to build it.
